Steam heating coils are manufactured from finned, seamless drawn boiler tube and high-pressure-resistant boiler plate. For special applications such as food and pharmaceuticals, they are manufactured from stainless chrome.
Steam Coil Design
Steam heating coils are specially designed with computer assistance for each application, with strength and heat-transfer calculations. This superior design ensures steam circulates efficiently and evenly across the entire coil body. Another factor that increases the efficiency of steam coils is prompt drainage of condensed water. This is taken into account during design. The tube layout is computer-aided designed to optimally limit condensate retention in the coil at both high and low steam pressure, prevent water hammer, and ensure even steam distribution across the whole surface.
They are shipped as a package, with equipment such as the steam inlet valve, steam trap and strainer, according to customer requirements.
For businesses that use a thermal oil boiler in their manufacturing processes, the same type of heating coil is produced to run on thermal oil.
