Soot Collector Multicyclone

Protects the environment by capturing ash, soot and a portion of harmful sulfur dioxide from the flue gas of solid-fuel boilers with a mechanical multicyclone system.

Soot Collector Multicyclone

They are used to capture and separate ash, soot and similar particles, along with a portion of the sulfur dioxide harmful to the environment, from the flue gas released by solid-fuel boilers.

Multicyclones are used to dynamically clean dust-laden waste gases such as flue gas, as well as process air and gases. Their dust-collection efficiency is higher than classic systems, and the particle sizes they can capture are much finer and smaller.

In solid-fuel boilers, particularly coal-fired boilers, the flue gas produced by combustion is quite dirty, depending on the fuel's ash content and combustion efficiency.

Even though the ash and soot carried along with the flue gas is reduced by design measures taken inside the boiler, some of it is still carried by the flue gas, exiting through the flue behind the boiler as fly ash released to the environment.

Soot collectors used to prevent fly ash and soot from polluting the environment are of the mechanical multicyclone type, containing small cyclones inside.
