  • Thanks to the three-pass design of the Heaton® TPWK series of hot water boilers, smooth, high-efficiency combustion is achieved.
  • Because the hot water return enters from the lower rear section of the boiler, and thanks to balanced distribution across the boiler's large water volume, excellent circulation and maximum heat transfer are achieved.
  • Because the combustion chamber is sufficiently large for good combustion, no expensive, specially designed blower fan is needed. Natural flue draft is sufficient.
  • Thanks to excellent heat insulation, heat efficiency values are maximized while standby losses are kept to a minimum.
  • No materials that could harm the environment or human health (such as asbestos) are used in Heaton® TPWK series hot water boilers.
  • Efficiency is around 85% on low-calorie lignite. This efficiency rises further with imported coal.
  • A flue damper controls boiler combustion. This feature reduces fuel consumption.
  • The boiler grates are cast iron and, unlike sheet-metal grates, do not suffer from problems such as burn-through and corrosion. They are sectional rather than one-piece, and can be replaced individually when needed.
  • The boiler tubes are rolled, not welded, and are easy to replace when needed.
  • The ash pan is built in; there is no need to build a separate ash pit.
  • This is the boiler type required by public works and government agencies. The passes are tube-bundle connected.
