Heaton® electric steam generators run at 100% efficiency. Heat loss is close to zero thanks to very good insulation. Being electric, they transfer 100% of their energy to the water.
Since they need no flue or fuel, they can be safely used almost anywhere.
Thanks to the special design of the heating elements, they need less current. This delivers 20% electricity savings. Because less current is drawn, the heating elements have a longer economic life. This feature also draws less power from the mains.
With its microprocessor, the heating elements switch in stage by stage and switch out one by one, allowing proportional operation. Because there is no sudden current surge, total electricity savings of 50% are achieved.
Because Heaton® electric steam generators are smaller than comparable units, they also do not require a separate boiler room.
